Welcome to The Casio Collector.

A website dedicated to my passion for collecting, restoring and enjoying watches — with Casio firmly at the heart of the collection but you’ll also see I have a growing passion for Field watches too.

For me, watch collecting isn't about owning the most expensive watches. It's about finding interesting pieces with character, history and a purpose. From classic Casio digitals and rugged G-Shocks to sensor watches, ana-digi models and field watches, I enjoy discovering watches that were designed to be worn, used and enjoyed.

Restoration is a big part of what I do. There's something particularly satisfying about finding a tired, neglected or well-used watch and giving it a new lease of life. Whether it's a simple clean-up, replacing damaged parts or a more involved restoration or modification, I enjoy the process just as much as adding the finished watch to the collection.

Here you'll find watches from my personal collection, restoration and modification projects, wrist rolls, model information and honest reviews based on real ownership and use. You'll also find the occasional watch from outside the Casio world when something interesting catches my eye.

Whether you're a long-time Casio enthusiast, a fellow collector or you've just discovered how much fun these watches can be, I hope you'll find something here that interests you.

Watches for Sale

Every watch deserves another chance to be worn and enjoyed.

I source pre-loved watches and give each one the attention it needs before offering it for sale. From thorough cleaning and careful polishing to new batteries, straps and replacement crystals, the aim is to bring out the best in every watch while retaining its character.

I don't simply buy watches and immediately turn them over. Wherever possible, each watch stays with me for a few weeks so I can test its reliability and timekeeping and be confident it's ready for its new owner.

Every watch sold through The Casio Collector also comes with a 90-day warranty for additional peace of mind.

Carefully prepared, properly tested and ready for its next chapter.

Vintage G-Shock | Fully Restored | Genuine Casio Parts

A fantastic early example of the legendary Casio G-Shock DW-6900 series, this DW-6900G-1V dates from 1995 and comes from my own personal collection.

This watch has undergone an extensive restoration rather than simply being cleaned and fitted with a new battery. The aim was to preserve the original watch wherever practical while replacing worn components with genuine Casio parts.

The original crystal showed signs of its age and has been sympathetically polished, considerably improving its appearance without unnecessarily replacing an original component.

The watch has been fitted with a new genuine Casio bezel, genuine Casio straps and genuine Casio light button, together with a new battery and new case-back gasket.

The watch was also stripped sufficiently to allow the seals to be attended to. The case-back and pusher-button gaskets have been cleaned and appropriately lubricated, helping preserve the watch for future use.

The LCD polarising filter has also been replaced, completing what has been a comprehensive refurbishment.

A Small Difference From Original

The original coloured decals on the internal faceplate had begun to deteriorate and peel with age. Rather than leave damaged and unsightly graphics in place, they were carefully removed during restoration.

This means the watch no longer has its completely original faceplate appearance, something I want to make absolutely clear to its next owner.

However, the result is a much cleaner, almost stealth-style appearance which works particularly well with the black case and bezel.

Pre-Owned | Excellent Condition | Fresh Battery

A superb example of the Casio Edifice EF-527D-1AV Chronograph, offered for sale from my own personal collection.

More Than Casio

Casio will always be at the heart of my collection, but a love of practical, affordable watches doesn't stop with one brand.

I've developed a particular passion for field watches — simple, legible and dependable watches designed to do a job without unnecessary complication. That philosophy fits perfectly with what I enjoy about watches in general: they're made to be worn and used.

My collection now includes field watches from a variety of brands, alongside other interesting pieces that have simply caught my eye along the way.

So while the name above the door might say The Casio Collector, don't be surprised to find the occasional Seiko, Citizen, Timex, Lorus or something completely unexpected.

If it's interesting, practical and deserves a place on the wrist, there's probably room for it here.
