A comprehensively restored 1995 Casio G-Shock DW-6900G-1V, featuring Module 1289 and coming from my own personal collection.
The restoration focused on preserving original components wherever practical while replacing worn parts with genuine Casio replacements.
The original crystal has been sympathetically polished rather than replaced. The watch has been fitted with a new genuine Casio bezel, resin strap, light button and case-back gasket, together with a new battery and LCD polarising filter.
The case-back and pusher seals have also been cleaned and appropriately lubricated.
The original coloured decals on the internal faceplate had deteriorated and begun peeling, so these were removed during restoration. The watch therefore differs from its original factory appearance, resulting in a cleaner, almost stealth-style faceplate.
All functions, including the electro-luminescent backlight, have been tested and are operating correctly.
