A striking vintage Casio Baby-G BG-169A from 2004, combining a soft lilac metallic-effect face with a transparent jelly resin bezel and strap for a distinctive early-2000s look.
Powered by Casio Module 2516, this feature-packed Baby-G offers World Time across 29 time zones and 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms including snooze, day counter and EL backlight with afterglow.
This particular example is in excellent condition with very little evidence of wear. The transparent resin bezel and strap remain in very good shape, although they have naturally developed a light yellow tint with age. Rather than detracting from the watch, this gives the transparent resin an authentic vintage appearance while retaining its original components.
The lilac face remains exceptionally clean, the digital display is clear and fully functional, and the stainless-steel caseback is equally well preserved. A particularly attractive surviving example of the colourful Baby-G designs Casio produced during the early 2000s.
