The deep blue dial features contrasting chronograph sub-dials, applied silver-tone hour markers and hands, a date display and clear outer minute track. The combination gives the watch a sporty, purposeful appearance while remaining smart enough for everyday wear.
This example has undergone a comprehensive restoration and refurbishment by The Casio Collector. The watch was stripped down for cleaning, with the case and bracelet carefully refinished to restore their original appearance. A new crystal has also been fitted, providing a beautifully clear, scratch-free view of the dial.
Particular care was taken to preserve the original shape and geometry of the case. A deeper scratch previously present on the bezel at approximately 11 o'clock has been carefully reduced during refinishing. A faint trace remains under close inspection; further material removal was deliberately avoided as it would have compromised the original profile of the bezel.
The stainless-steel bracelet has also been cleaned and refinished, restoring its attractive brushed appearance while retaining the character appropriate to a pre-owned watch.
The caseback identifies the watch as Lorus V657-X039, with a Japanese movement and original 10 BAR / 100 metre water-resistance marking.
Following restoration, the watch has been reassembled, thoroughly tested and monitored. The timekeeping, chronograph and date functions are operating correctly, and the watch is running beautifully.
