A wonderfully colourful vintage Lorus V821-0840, dating from approximately the 1990s and featuring a striking orange dial with contrasting dark blue numerals and sports-style bezel markings.
Measuring approximately 27mm across excluding the crown, this is a compact and lightweight watch, but the bold colour scheme gives it considerably more presence than its dimensions might suggest. The vivid orange dial is complemented by yellow-accented hands, a contrasting blue seconds hand and a silver-tone sports bezel.
The watch is powered by the Japanese Lorus V821 quartz movement, with the dial marked V821-3680 0D2 and the caseback carrying the reference V821-0840.
It has been fitted with an orange fabric strap, which works brilliantly with the dial and gives the watch a fun, distinctive retro appearance.
This example is in good vintage condition. There are age-related marks and scratches to the case and caseback, as shown clearly in the photographs, but the dial remains wonderfully vibrant and attractive.
