New Old Stock | Indiglo Night-Light
A lovely example of a 1990s Timex 20012, presented in new old stock condition and featuring Timex's famous Indiglo night-light.
This is a classic 1990s Timex design, combining a polished gold-tone case with a clean light-coloured dial, traditional Arabic numerals and a black genuine leather strap.
The strap is particularly attractive, featuring a subtle embossed pattern that gives the watch a little more character than a conventional plain leather dress strap.
Despite its age, this example appears to have seen little, if any, actual wear. As a result, very little restoration was required. The watch has simply been lightly cleaned and inspected before being fitted with a fresh battery.
The case-back gasket has also been cleaned and re-greased, and the watch has been tested to ensure both the timekeeping and Indiglo illumination are operating correctly.
An interesting piece of 1990s Timex history, period retail packaging for the Timex 20012 shows an original US retail price of $37.99.
