This example is New Old Stock and was supplied boxed with its manual. Although the watch itself remains exceptionally well preserved and appears unworn, the original leather strap had deteriorated through age and was beginning to crack. It has therefore been replaced with a new black leather strap with contrasting white stitching, giving the watch a smart, traditional appearance while making it ready for reliable everyday wear.
The T2H281 is part of Timex's long-running Easy Reader range and remains a current Timex reference. Its simple 35 mm case, highly legible dial and push-crown INDIGLO illumination make it a classic, practical design rather than a watch tied to a short production period.
