A wonderfully colourful Timex Kids Time Teachers T73881, manufactured in November 2004, combining Timex's easy-to-read teaching dial with a distinctive original rocket-themed fabric strap.
Part of Timex's Kids Time Teachers range, the T73881 was designed to help younger wearers learn to tell the time. The bright analogue dial features large green Arabic hour numerals, a clearly marked outer minute scale and specially labelled HOUR and MINUTE hands, creating a display that's both practical and full of character.
The watch is particularly distinctive thanks to its original black fabric strap, decorated with colourful raised space-themed motifs including rockets, a shooting star and astronaut. The adjustable hook-and-loop fastening makes it easy to fit and forms an important part of the original design.
The stainless-steel caseback carries Timex manufacturing code MM, dating this particular example to November 2004.
More than two decades later, this example remains New Old Stock and unworn, making it a particularly charming survivor from Timex's colourful children's watch range of the period. It is also supplied with its original Timex display stand.
A new CR1216 battery has been fitted, and the watch has been carefully inspected and tested. It is running correctly and ready to wear, collect or display.
