A beautifully preserved vintage Sekonda USSR quartz watch, featuring classic dress-watch styling and an exceptionally clean white dial with prominent black Roman numerals.
The dial has a traditional railway-style inner minute track, slim gold-tone seconds hand and contrasting black hour and minute hands, creating a wonderfully clear and elegant appearance. Most importantly for collectors of vintage Sekonda watches, the dial is clearly marked “USSR” at 6 o’clock.
The slim gold-tone case complements the dial beautifully and remains in excellent vintage condition, showing only very minor visible wear. The watch is fitted with a narrow black leather strap, completing its understated vintage dress-watch appearance.
The stainless-steel caseback carries serial number 418927.
This example was initially reluctant to run but was successfully revived during inspection and has subsequently been monitored over an extended period. It has continued to run reliably and keep excellent time.
